Bio

Naomi Rabago is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended her undergraduate studies at Talladega College and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with emphasis on gerontology, psychology and sociology. Naomi later graduated with her Master’s degree and her Educational Specialist degree where both are in Community Agency Counseling from Jacksonville State University. For over 10 years, Naomi has provided therapeutic support as she has worked with those overcoming addiction and/or with co-occurring disorders. With the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling, Naomi is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC). Ms. Rabago has specialty certifications as an Alcohol Drug Counselor (ADC) as well as Internationally Certified as an Alcohol Drug Counselor (ICADC).

Naomi provides compassion and ethical support and believes everyone has the capacity to change. Naomi applies a holistic approach and utilizes various methods for individual needs to include; strengths based, multicultural, reality therapy, person centered, motivational interviewing, solution focused, rational emotive behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Professionally, Naomi is a member of NAADAC-the Association for Addiction Professionals, the Alabama Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association. Naomi is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Ms. Rabago enjoys Husker football, sports, reading, volunteering, assisting those to register to vote and quality time with family and friends.
