Ryan, originally from Montgomery, Alabama, pursued college basketball in Jackson, Mississippi. However, in 2012, a knee surgery introduced him to his first mind-altering substance, setting off a decade-long terrible battle with addiction.

He eventually had a significant surrender when he arrived at Impact Recovery Center in January 2022. Learning a new way of life and a life of recovery allowed Ryan to face his problems head-on. Today, he stands as a testament to the Power of getting free from addiction. His experience fuels his dedication to guiding others, both personally and professionally, through their own paths to recovery. Today Ryan lives a free life which once seemed impossible.
