Taner is from Haleyville, Alabama and was introduced to drugs shortly after graduating from high school. He spent 12 years in active addiction, seeking help from four different treatment centers before arriving to Impact. It was here that he received the truth and knowledge about his condition. He gained the tools necessary to maintain sobriety and build a successful life. Through this process, Taner experienced the restoration of all his relationships and a new outlook on life.

The 12-step program not only guided Taner towards sobriety but also facilitated a newfound relationship with both himself and a God, something he had never experienced before. After completing the program, he transitioned through various jobs until the opportunity arose to join the team here at Impact.

Upon joining, Taner recognized that it was where he belonged and what he was meant to do with his life. He has since dedicated himself to helping others recover both professionally - by coaching our clients and personally - serving as a sponsor to individuals. Taner’s unique experience enables him to connect with the individuals in our program on a profound level.
